Publisher Terms
For Brands · Last updated: 22 June 2026
These are the terms for using Clippr as a Publisher — a brand, label, studio, or creator who runs campaigns and pays Clippers to clip and post content. By launching a campaign, you agree to them.
How Clippr works (for you)
- You create a campaign with a brief, content rules, target platforms, payout rate per 1,000 views, total budget, and any caps (per-clip, per-clipper, etc.).
- Once we approve the campaign and you fund it, Clippers can discover it and start posting clips.
- We track view counts, calculate earnings, and hold them until you finalise the campaign.
- You finalise when the campaign ends, and we release earnings to the Clippers who delivered.
Who can be a Publisher
- You must be 18+ and have the legal authority to bind your business to these terms.
- Your account info has to be accurate and yours to use.
- You're responsible for your team — anyone you give access to your Publisher account acts under these terms.
Rules for your campaigns
Every campaign you run must:
- follow the laws of the markets you target (including the FTC's rules on endorsements, disclosures, and "ad" markers);
- not promote anything illegal, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or targeted at minors;
- not infringe anyone's IP — songs, footage, branding, etc., must be cleared;
- respect the rules of the platforms you target (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X);
- be honest — no false claims about your product, service, or offer.
Payment & budget
- Fees and budget for each campaign are agreed upfront in the dashboard or in writing. Payment is due within 30 days of the campaign's first day.
- Unpaid balances accrue 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is lower) and we can suspend your account until paid.
- Disputes about an invoice must be raised in writing before the due date. You can't withhold or offset payments against unrelated claims.
- You're responsible for any taxes due on your use of Clippr.
- No refunds for budget already spent on validated clip views. Unspent budget at campaign close, if any, is handled per the campaign agreement.
Edits to live campaigns
You can request edits to a live campaign in your dashboard. Material changes (budget, rate, content rules, caps) need our admin review before they go live so Clippers aren't surprised mid-campaign.
Your content vs. Clipper content
- Anything you upload — briefs, brand assets, songs, talking points — stays yours. You give Clippr a licence to use it as needed to run the campaign.
- Clips submitted to your campaign stay owned by the Clippers who made them. You get a licence to use them in connection with the campaign you funded — not for unlimited reuse.
- Clippr keeps all rights in the platform itself.
What you can't do
- Reverse engineer, copy, or rebuild Clippr.
- Use the platform to compete with us.
- Scrape, harvest, or contact Clippers outside of Clippr in a way that bypasses the platform.
- Submit campaigns designed to phish, scam, or otherwise harm Clippers.
- Upload malware, sensitive personal data (HIPAA stuff, government IDs, etc.), or anything you don't have the right to share.
Communication & Nikki
We may contact you about campaigns, invoices, and product updates via the email and Discord linked to your account. Conversations with our AI assistant Nikki are recorded for support, training, fraud investigation, and legal records.
// disclaimer of warranties
Clippr is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any specific view count, engagement level, ROI, or that any campaign will achieve its goals. View counts and platform behaviour come from third parties (TikTok, Apify, yt-dlp, etc.) which we trust but can't warrant. All warranties (express, implied, or statutory) are disclaimed to the maximum extent allowed by law.
// limit of liability
Clippr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 3 months before the claim. No liability for beta or trial features. This cap doesn't limit your payment obligations.
Indemnity
If a third party sues us because of your campaign — IP infringement, false claims, regulatory issues, anything — you cover our reasonable costs (including legal fees) of dealing with it.
Disputes
Any dispute between you and Clippr will be resolved by binding individual arbitration. You waive the right to a jury trial and to bring or join a class action. You can opt out within 30 days of first using Clippr by emailing legal@clippr.ae with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out." UAE law governs; Dubai courts hear anything not arbitrated. Nothing here stops us from going to court to protect our IP.
Termination
- Either side can end this agreement at any time, but you still owe any Fees that have accrued.
- On termination, we can delete your data within 30 days. Audit and tax records may be retained longer where required by law.
Other stuff
- Assignment — you can't transfer these terms without our written consent (mergers/acquisitions excepted). We can.
- Independent parties — we're not your partner, agent, or employer. No third-party beneficiaries.
- Severability — if one part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- Updates — we may update these terms over time. Material changes will be posted here; continued use means you accept them.
